Overnight stop - PAKBENG!
We never thought this place would also be so nice... and as Alistair would say, "if I only knew, I would have stopped here for some days. Sip my Beer Lao with the nice view of the river." That is the same for us girls... if we only knew... next time!
The room deal we've got was really good - 37,500 kip for 2 rooms... cool! But not so cool - there was no electricity the whole night! Argh!!!
Anyways, we still loved it there. We've heard lots of travel stories from Alistair and it inspired us. Someday, I will also sit with young travelers and that would be my time to share my tales. I will tell them about Alistair and about the two Chilean girls I've met and befriended.
