Football Fever

I was never a football fan, never a ball game fan BUT the "football fever" caught me while I was still in Vietnam and it hit me big time when I was already in Malaysia when it was nearing the finals.
I follow Germany normally and watched a bit of Spain. And Spain annoyed me when they won over Germany with a very boring game. Made me hate ball games again. The next day after that match, which ended around 5am in Malaysian time, was the first day of the conference. I was actually given a nice room but I never really used it. I slept only for 2 hours then I had to leave for the conference. And I was assigned at the registration for the VIPs.

Then arrived quite late one VIP from a Latin American country. My first words to her was: "So, you cheered for Spain last night, right?" She said yes and we had a bit of a conversation. I was telling her how annoyed I was with the game. My co-volunteers were even trying to stop me. Hahaha... She agrees with me. Whatever! I was in a bad mood the whole day.

Football is fun especially when we were at the Merdeka Square. They've set-up a huge screen and it was really a good game between Uruguay and Germany. And there was the illegal drinking in public (which the public don't know) again.
