Arrived 3 hours ago from Kota Kinabalu. I almost missed my flight which I wouldn't be really sad about if I did. I was enjoying my life there with a really nice Malay family who took me in as their guest for a week.
Back now in the Philippines, paid more than what is enough for a taxi ride to a friend's place, rain started to pour and humidity is getting in my nerves - I'm really back!
Back where? I still don't know where I will settle for the next months. There is quite a list of friends to visit all-over the country and the best way to do it is from north to south. But I think I have to miss the east part of the Philippines this time. Though I wanted to visit my friends and "family" in Bicol too. I'll find a way.
Now, I have to slow things down. Think about the next destination given the limited resources I have now and it seems that travelling in the Philippines is a bit more costly than in other ASEAN countries. I will try hitchhiking in some parts but I won't rely on it.
I will start tomorrow filling in the missing posts that are long overdue.
Goodnight for now!
Cheers,
kakay
Just peeking at your site and I'm impressed with your recent solo journey across South East Asia. Lots of experiences, lots of stories to tell. And this journey never ends, right?
ReplyDeleteI guess, it won't. :-) Still on a "part-time" job hunt and guess what, I will do some camp management in one of the marine reserves in Negros - for a week. It just keeps on getting better. :-)
